LOW TEMPERATURE CARBON STEEL PIPE FITTINGS
Low temperature carbon steel pipe fittings include:
Material: These pipe fittings are usually manufactured from carbon steel that has been specifically engineered to retain its toughness and ductility at low temperatures, often referred to as"low temp carbon steel"or by specific material grades such as ASTM A333 Grade 6.
Applications: They find application in industries where operating environments involve cryogenic or low-temperature conditions, such as in liquefied natural gas (LNG) facilities, refrigeration systems, and certain chemical processing plants.
Standards: Depending on the region and specific requirements, these fittings may be manufactured to various standards such as ASTM, ASME, or other relevant international standards.
These pipe fittings are essential for maintaining the integrity and safety of piping systems operating under low-temperature conditions.

Low Temperature Carbon Steel Grade
There are some types and grades for low temperature carbon steel pipe fittings, pipe and flanges.
- ASTM A350 Forged Fittings and Flanges.
- ASTM A420 Butt Weld Fittings.
- A333 Seamless and Welded Pipes
Besides, A106 B often used in low temp pipeline applications. In fact, it is not a LTCS, but its working temperature can be lower according to a specific treatments.
A420 Carbon Steel Pipe Fittings
A420 is the standard specification for Piping Fittings of Wrought Carbon Steel and Alloy Steel for Low-Temperature Service. They are chiefly used in low-temperature equipment and especially for welded pressure vessels.

Butt Weld Bend provides a strong connection for pipeline, based on the large options of diameter and thickness, you can select freely to meet your needs. You can also choose seamless elbow or welded elbow in consider of your requirements.
Low temperature carbon steel ASTM A420 WPL6 Pipe Fittings
WPL6 is the most common grade of A420 low temperature carbon steel pipe fittings. They are widely utilized in pressure piping and pressure vessel service. Therefore, our A420 WPL6 butt weld fittings are the preferred choice in the oil and crude petroleum wells as they can progress effortlessly between pipes. They readily allow the passage of toxic liquids.
We also take proper heat treatment for the fittings, generally it is quenching and tempering, so they could be tougher than normalized micro-structures at the same strength level.
